Jed’s culinary path saw him training in some of Auckland’s finest restaurants before heading overseas to Scotland, working in prestigious establishments and honing his skills with some of the best chefs from the regions.
He brings together decades of international kitchen experience and creative flair, delivering exquisite dishes for the restaurant, weddings and private celebrations.
Known for his fusion of Mediterranean and Asian flavours, Chef Jed Sneddon’s cooking incorporates classic French techniques, with this approach leading to thoughtfully layered, flavourful dishes that stand out in both taste and presentation.
With his immense passion for food coupled with a continual need to stay creative, he has spent countless hours developing new flavour combinations with the philosophy that great food needs to not only taste good, but textures, smell, and vision play a major factor in outstanding food.
For the last 15 years, he has been living in the tropical region of Port Douglas, Queensland, running his own award-winning restaurant, catering business, and as a private chef cooking for celebrities and high-profile clientele.
